Finally, Salman Khan is back with his most affable character of Chulbul Pandey in Dabangg 2, which hit the theatres today. And if the previews and trailers of the movie are anything to go by, then Dabangg 2 promises to be double the fun, double the action, double the entertainment! Even as the world ceases to end today i.e. 21 December, 2012 as per the Mayan calendar and other astrology sciences, Salman Khan remains undeterred by all the hysteria surrounding the doomsday. He, infact, chose to release his highly anticipated Dabangg 2 on the same day when the world is predicted to come to an end. The stars also are seem to be highly in favour of Sallu baba at this moment. His last release, Ek Tha Tiger, went on to amass a fortune of over Rs.300 crores at the box-office, thereby re-confirming his status as the most bankable star of Bollywood, today. What’s more, his reunion with Sonakshi Sinha in Dabangg 2 is also favouring the film, as suggested by the numerology calculator. Salman’s ruling number 9 is being governed by Mars while Sonakshi’s ruling number 2 is being ruled by Moon. And given the fact that Mars is a friendly planet to the Moon, the union of ruling numbers 2 and 9 is predicted to work wonders for the film as well as its lead pair. Not to forget that the film’s item song Fevicol Se, featuring the sultry Kareena Kapoor, is already ruling the music charts all across the country, and is only adding to the X-factor of Dabangg 2. The sequel follows Chulbul Pandey moving from the rustic locales of a village to the glamorous hustle-bustle of a city to rub shoulders with the elite, where he ends up killing the brother of the criminal-turned-politician, Bachcha Bhaiyya. An agitated Bachcha Bhaiyya gets into the revenge mode and wants Chulbul Pandey at any cost. Will Bachcha Bhaiyya get his revenge for his brother’s death or will Chulbul Pandey get rid of the dreaded criminal? Let the drama unfold at the theatres, today! So, will the ‘D’ factor, Dabangg 2 releasing on the doomsday, work in Salman’s favour? Let’s just wait ‘n’ watch!

Happy Birthday Ankita Lokhande!

She was supposed to start her career in the Indian television industry with Bali Umar Ko Salaam against Jay Soni. But, as destiny would have it, the serial got canned and she ended up landing the lead role in Pavitra Rishta as Archana Manav Deshmukh. The rest, as they say, is history!

Yes, we are talking about none other than the leading lady of the highly popular TV serial Pavitra Rishta, Ankita Lokhande. Ankita, who turns 28 today, has hit the jackpot with her maiden TV serial, a luck that does not embrace just about anybody. And what’s more, she has even found the love of her life in the form of her leading man in Pavitra Rishta, Sushant Singh Rajput.

So, what is it about Ankita that has worked in her favour and catapulted her to instant stardom in her maiden TV venture? Let us take a quick look at her life and find out more about the girl who portrays the ideal lady in the popular television serial Pavitra Rishta on a day when she turns a year older and wiser.

Hailing from a Marathi Patil family, she was born as Tanuja Lokhande in Indore on 19 December, 1984. She is a Sagittarian by birth and her ruling number, as per the science of numerology, is 1. Now Sagittarians by nature are far too full of energy to sit still for long, a trait that everyone on the sets of Pavitra Rishta would vouch for. Her zodiac sign also indicates towards her free spirited nature and hence it is not that easy to keep pace with them at all times.

A Sagittarian is known to be quite dashing and ambitious; someone who loves to take up new challenges and explore unknown subjects. This is another trait in Ankita that has worked quite well in her favour and helped her reach the top of the ladder sooner than the rest.

As far as her ruling number is concerned, Ankita is someone who’s born to lead from the front. Add to that her farsightedness, single-minded devotion towards work and her steely determination, and you have a winning combination at hand like no other. However, she needs to curb her emotional outbursts and tactless handling of situations if she wishes to replicate her success in her maiden TV venture.

Her relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput, her costar from Pavitra Rishta, also seems to be a mutually beneficial one. As per astrology, it’s a union of a Sagittarian woman with an Aquarian man and is highly likely to be a successful one as they both seek the reality of things and give each other ample space to grow. While the Aquarian man is mesmerized by the ambitious nature of his Sagittarius woman, it’s the newness that her man brings to her life that keeps the Sagittarian woman hooked on to her Aquarian beau.

So, the future seems pretty bright for this self-acclaimed livewire lady, both professionally and personally. And if her horoscope is anything to be believed, then Ankita’s stars are only going to get better in 2013. So, on this positive note, we wish the leading lady of Pavitra Rishta, Ankita Lokhande, a very happy and fabulous birthday!!

The ‘Khiladi’ is Back!

He is one of the biggest stars of Bollywood today and he is not a ‘Khan’. He has had some of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters to his credit. His ‘khiladi’ series has been one of the most popular and successful franchises in Bollywood. He has been the highest tax-payer of Bollywood for the past couple of years. And when he decided to return to the action genre after a gap of 7 long years, his film ended-up amassing more than 100 crores at the box-office!

Yes, he is none other than the ‘khiladi’ himself - Akshay Kumar. And he is all set to rock the box-office, again, with his second action film of the year 2012, Khiladi 786. The film is an action comedy and stars south siren Asin against him in the lead. The film also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Himesh Reshammiya, Paresh Rawal, Raj Babbar and Mukesh Rishi in significant roles.

Set in the backdrop of Punjab, Akshay Kumar plays the role of Bahattar Singh, a local hooligan who helps the cops catch the bad guys (smugglers). No girl in India is ready to get married into his family because of the wrong-doings of his entire family. On the other hand, Indu (played by Asin) is the daughter of a famous gangster Tatya Tukaram Tendulkar (played by Mithun Chakraborty) who just keeps refusing to get married to even the most decent of guys. So our match-maker Mansukh (played by Himesh Reshammiya) tries to hook-up Bahattar Singh and Indu. What follows next is a series of comic twists and turns, and you have a full masala entertainer in the form of Khiladi 786.

So will Akshay Kumar turn lucky for the third time in 2012 after the tremendous successes of Housefull 2 and Rowdy Rathore? As per numerology, his ruling number 9 says that his originality and energetic self should work in his favour. But will his khiladi magic actually work on the audience is what remains to be seen.

We will get to know if Akshay’s career graph rises or falls by the end of this weekend, but what about YOUR career?

Talaash Aamir’s Search for Success Again

The month of December seems to preserve its best for Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan. After tasting stupendous success in the form of the mega-blockbuster 3 Idiots and surprise hit Delhi Belly, both being released in December, will Aamir Khan be 3rd time lucky with his latest venture Talaash?
Talaash - The Answer Lies Within is a Bollywood suspense thriller involving a cop, a housewife and a prostitute whose lives get entangled in mysterious and unexpected ways. The film is being directed by Reema Kagti and it stars Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor. The film has already created quite a buzz among cinegoers with its unconventional promos, something that Aamir has mastered over the years. And going by track record of the film’s leading male protagonist, Talaash is all set to become a hit even before its release.
The film is releasing on 30 November, 2012 and as per numerology, its ruling number turns out to be 1. So it would not be wrong to assume that Aamir is once again here to rule the box-office with Talaash. The film was made at an estimated cost of Rs.40 crores and after having already sold its satellite rights for approximately the same amount, Talaash is a break-even film even before its release. And the fact that the film is releasing in more number of screens overseas than even his biggest hit 3 Idiots, also acts in favour of it.
Moreover, Aamir’s own stars are also there to add to the chances of the film’s success. As per astrology, Aamir is a Piscean by birth. Pisceans are very creative by nature and it is this characteristic of Aamir Khan that lands that killer punch to his roles and eventually his films. Pisceans are also more social than the other zodiac signs, according to astrology, and are also quite popular, another characteristic which is quite evident in Talaash’s leading man Aamir Khan.

And that is not all. Aamir was born on 14 March, 1965 and according to Indian numerology, his ruling number is 5. People ruled by the number 5 are very artistic in nature and they constantly strive for excellence at work, characteristics now synonymous to Aamir Khan and also the reason for his films’ success. Numerology also suggests that people with the ruling number 5 are pretty flexible, love challenges and possess great potential for success. They also possess a keen eye for details without losing sight of the bigger picture, yet another of Aamir’s many qualities that call for his films’ success.

So, according to Indian astrology, the stars are all in favour of Talaash - The Answer Lies Within, much thanks to its leading man Aamir Khan. The near future seems quite bright for the film and come this Friday, 30 November, 2012, we shall see the stars rising for Aamir Khan, yet again!
