Tide Through Lay-offs and Losses

What do the Tarot Cards have to reveal about your career, the lay-offs and losses? For how long will the situation continue to haunt us? Is there hope? When will the situation become better? What is the immediate future going to be like?
Over the past week I have read the cards of over a dozen people with similar
questions. Ranging from “Will I find another job now that I’ve been laid off?” to “How will my financial state be?” to “How can I survive this recession?” Each one bone chillingly clear, each one revealing the insecurity and nervousness that exists right now in the hearts of many breadwinners across the world. To get an idea of the situation from the Tarot perspective, I pulled out a deck and asked “what do we need to know about the current economic state?”
And, this is what was revealed.

In the present moment, the reversed
Wheel of Fortune indicates a phase of temporary bad luck in the economic realm. Since everything is cyclical, and every high must have a low, we are where we are. But, lows never last forever and tough times make souls tougher, more resilient, more innovative and, somehow, more real. It is now we see other human beings who are struggling for who they really are. No more are we cloaked and cushioned by luxuries, it is now we reveal a side to the world that can either make us or break us.
Our best way forward, reflected in the Page of Pentacles, indicates a time to just roll up the sleeves and do what needs to be done. A time to get practical and progress with realistic aims in mind. Windows of opportunity exist for all of us, but it requires actively going out and searching for them. Know your strengths and limitations, don’t short-sell yourself, but don’t expect over-the-top salaries, either. Diligent planning and grounding are key ingredients for tiding through this phase of layoffs, losses and uncertainty.
Our outcome within 6 months, with the Ace of Swords taking a prominent place, reveals the beginnings of a new chapter in our
economy. After a period of stress and upheaval, some clear direction will emerge, some progress will be made and some risks would need to be taken by individuals and companies, alike. Further, the cards indicate a time for taking stock of the situation and remobilizing resources, stepping into new territory with logic and decisiveness. Perseverance and self-belief are key factors. As a sign of recovery, it is a positive indication of a new way with peace, prosperity and progress assured.
