So, here comes Salman Khan again to rule the hearts of his fans with his persona and charm in the film Bodyguard. Scheduled for release on Eid, .i.e, August 31, 2011, Bodyguard, a romantic and an action film directed by Siddique, is the remake of the 2010 Malayalam film,Bodyguard.
Salman plays the character of a punctual and dutiful bodyguard, Lovely Singh. He has been assigned to guard Divya (Kareena Kapoor), daughter of Sartaj Rana (Raj Babbar), a business tycoon. But due to his over-protective nature, he is only turning out to be a major hindrance for her in leading a regular life. An annoyed Divya comes up with a plan to get rid of him. She becomes a secret admirer of him and expresses her unconditional love for him. And indeed, she gets success in her mission. But things take a sudden turn and she finds herself in a dilemma and Lovely Singh gets trapped in a pool of deceit.
Bodyguard is a total masala film which has all the recipes to make it a successful film. But, will the stars favour Salman and Kareena ? Will they finally be able to register their first hit as a pair?
