Oops! Nasser Hussain did it again

The England-India cricket series has become a dull and one-sided affair with Dhoni’s boys going kaput at the hands of the England team. Team India, which landed in England as the World No.1 Test team, was completely outplayed by the superb performances and team spirit of Andrew Strauss’s boys, who snatched away from them the No.1 title. But we should be grateful to one man who’s been providing some time-to-time entertainment and still keeping us glued to our idiot box. So, let’s say ‘Thank You’ to Nasser Hussain.

Hussain has once again embroiled himself in a controversy for blatantly exercising his ‘right to opinion’. His spat with Ravi Shastri during the Test series over the Decision Review System (DRS) is yet to sink in that Indian cricket fans are hurt again by his insensitive commentary which compared some Indian fielders to 'donkeys'.

“I would say the difference between the two sides is the fielding. England are all-round a good fielding side. I do believe that India have a few…3 or 4 very good fielders and one or two donkeys in the field still,” said Hussain, as a commentator during the one-off T20 match between England and India on August 31 in Manchester. He made this awful comment after Parthiv Patel misjudged a Kevin Pietersen's catch off Munaf Patel's bowling in the fourth over of England innings.
