Ind vs Eng: Who will rock in this clash?

India and England cricket team will clash again but this time the battle ground will be in India. Having thrashed India so badly in Test series and One-Day Internationals at their home ground, the England cricket team is confident that they will repeat the magic even in India in the ODI series, which begins in Hyderabad on October 14. England will end the India tour with the Twenty20 game in Kolkata on October 29. This will be Team India’s first series at home since winning the World Cup in April this year.

England had beaten India 3-0 in a five-game one-day series at England last month and won all four Tests and a one-off Twenty20 match. Will Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his boys be able to prove their worth at home? Will World Champion Team India be able to save themselves from further disgrace? Who are the Indian players who are likely to shine in this one-day series? Let’s find out…..

Team India will miss master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj SIngh and pace spearhead Zaheer Khan due to injuries. Turbanator Harbhajan Singh has been dropped for the first two games. So, huge pressure will be on the young breed like Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina to prove their mettle.

Mahendra Dhoni: Dhoni, definitely, is the man under tremendous pressure at the moment. However, he is someone who won’t let himself be curbed down by pressure. Stars have not been on his side in recent months but his luck will improve in this series. He will be there to deliver when the team needs him.

Gautam Gambhir: Gauti’s trip to England was cut short due to elbow injury and concussion. He is, undeniably, one of the finest batsmen in the cricketing world. He would try hard to seize this opportunity and will come out performing well. With a good batting average, his experience will come handy in this series. Read More!
