Anita Nigam awarded Swami Vivekananda Award

On 2nd Feb internationally acclaimed astrologer Anita Nigam received the prestigious "Swami Vivekananda Award" in Kolkata along with the honour of "Jyotish Samrat". This award and honour is awarded by the Indian Institute of Oriental Heritage, Kolkata. This award was given to Anita Nigam by Tripura's Governor Shri D.D.Y Patil for her extra-ordinary achievement in the field of astrology.

Anita has been predicting on both National and International events and the accuracy of her predictions have helped establish her name internationally. During the 35th Annual International Conference on Oriental Heritage at Mahajati Sadan Auditorium, Kolkata, Anita spoke on the topic of History repeats, which talks about the astrological aspect of Baba Ramdev's failed agitation last year and Anna Hazare's movement comparing it with the Indian Independence Movement. Her speech was applauded by people present in the auditorium. Anita Nigam has previously been awarded the Bharat Jyoti Award, Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award and several other prestigious awards for her remarkable work in the field of astrology.
